Assisted living offers a helping hand when you need it. 

 

An array of discreet services and support are always close at hand with our 24-hour Assisted Living Services.  Individual care coordination and health maintenance are managed by our Director of Care.  As well, our professionally trained Registered Resident Care Aides are available to provide personal assistance with activities of daily living and to help maintain the quality of life you deserve.

 

A service plan can be tailored to meet your individual requirements or preferences.  More comprehensive assistance is also available to support more demanding health needs.  You can add or remove services as you choose, and you only pay for the services you request.

 

State-of-the-art Information Technology Program 

 

To ensure we meet all of your assisted living needs, we offer our own unique state-of-the-art computerized resident evaluation program Careware™.  This powerful software tool allows us to accurately store, monitor and evaluate personal care services.  In addition, our Director of Care will visit with you or your loved one to personally discuss health-related issues and to continue to monitor the resident's on-going progress.

 

Bathing Assistance

 

Our trained staff is available for standby support or to provide assistance throughout the entire shower or bath.

 

Health Maintenance

 

Includes an ongoing awareness and monitoring of residents' health conditions by our care team, making observations about the status of these conditions and providing assistance with tasks such as blood pressure monitoring, etc.

 

Care Coordination

 

Coordinating appointments and transportation to and from health care providers.  Available on an ongoing or case-by-case basis.

 

Medication Services

 

This customized service may include medication management, coordination between our pharmacy and physician, and assistance in administering daily medications when needed using our state-of-the-art medication management system (oneMAR™).

 

Continence Management

 

Assistance with continence management and of incontinence products.

 

Personal Appearance Assistance

 

Help in daily grooming including hair, makeup, shaving, oral care, and dressing.

 

Temporary Illness Care

 

Temporary Illness care is an individualized 24-hour service plan monitored by our professional care staff.  It may include hospitality checks as often as every two hours to ensure resident well-being and comfort.  Attending staff may also assist with meals, encourage fluid intake and help with bathroom visits.  Where appropriate, our professional care staff will liaise with the resident's personal physician regarding progress and ongoing health needs.

Government Subsidies Available

 

As a partner in the Independent Living BC (ILBC) program, we have funding available, including the Shelter Aid for Elderly Renters (SAFER) government subsidy, based on eligibility requirements.
