"Together is a wonderful place to be"

At Heritage House, supportive retirement living and assisted living doesn't mean increased dependence upon others; it actually enables greater independence, convenience and security.

When seniors have the opportunity to meet new people and join in new activities; when they're served 3 healthy meals a day; when they are provided the daily assistance they need; their level of functioning improves.  When they are feeling better, they have a greater independence and can actually enjoy life more.

We believe that you will be pleasantly surprised at what Heritage House has to offer you and/or your loved one.  It is our goal to meet and hopefully exceed your expectations!

The Benchmark L.I.F.E. Standard

In order to weave our Mission & Values into our Heritage House Care motto, we have embraced what we believe is the L.I.F.E. Standard difference in our care delivery model.

As a family-owned and operated community, we have a sense of pride in our personal and "hands-on" approach to management and delivery of services.  We are inspired by the Golden Rule in striving to treat others the way we would like to be treated.   That underlying philosophy is what shapes our policy and procedures and care model.  It continually reminds us of the importance of adhering to our establishing principles / values and mission. We believe that all of us are valuable members of the team, starting with the individual, our staff and residents, and including our community partners and fellow service providers.

Oliver, British Columbia

Located near the south end of the Okanagan Valley, in south-central British Columbia.  Just 25 km north of the USA border, Heritage House sits in the only desert area of Canada.  The attractive climate fosters popular tourist activities including summer water sports, golf, and sight-seeing.  Heritage House is in an area that is an ideal setting for growing Okanagan wine grapes and the area produces among the best rated wines in the world!  The mild weather year-round also makes Heritage House a great place to live.

With over 2000 hours of annual sunshine, the Oliver area boasts over 400 farms and 102 vineyards.  From 'vine to wine', the region produces more than a third of British Columbia's wines and supplies quality local produce readily available at farmers' markets and roadside fruit stands.
